**Full Job Description**

Ecomatrix is an established and rapidly expanding Open Access Service Provider, specializing in Open Access & GPON connectivity.

**Job Duties**:

- Resolve, repair and install fibre optic network infrastructure according to the site plan.
- Lay underground and underfloor fibre optic cabling
- Test systems and find/fix any faults
- Liaise with customers in person, on the phone or online
- Maintain detailed records of each job
- Working in clients’ homes or businesses
- Working outdoors in all types weather
- Monitor and maintain boot stock for installation team vehicles.
- Responsible for the electrical and hard tool inventory to be used for site installations.
- And any other reasonable task.

**Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate or equivalent
- Tertiary level IT or Telecommunications qualification is preferred
- 3 years' experience performing fibre installations
- A CFOT certificate is advantageous
- Valid code 8 drivers license

**Experience**:

- Fibre Installations: 3 years (preferred)
- Experience on DFA link builds can be to your advantage

License/Certification:

- Code 8 (preferred)
- FOA (preferred)

**Job Type**: Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
