**Mathematician or Data Scientist**

Nanodyn is seeking a Mathematician or Data Scientist for a Machine Learning role.

The Machine Learning outputs will be developed as elements of Automation or Advanced Process Control solutions applied by Nanodyn to the global industrial sector. Target industries include sugar production, ethanol distillation, mining, oil and gas, energy generation and others.

**Chief Responsibilities**
- Imagination, creativity and innovation.
- Well-mannered and wholly ethical conduct.
- Teamwork and reciprocity.
- Perpetual self-betterment.
- Data cleaning.
- Time series analysis.
- Data analytics.
- Generating ‘production quality’ or ‘production standard’ code.
- Producing reports and documentation on algorithms developed, for _inter alia_ the purposes of configuration management and traceability.
- Travel on behalf of the company when so required.

**Salary**: From R25,000.00 per month
