**Type of appointment**:
**Fixed-term appointment**

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Humanities-related modules, in the faculty on a fixed-term basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- Honours degree in BA English Literature (major in Communications or related)

**Experience**:

- 1 -2 years or relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Modules to be lectured**:
- English Literature 1-3- Research- Research Project Supervision- Academic English- Business English- English for Graphic Design- Academic Skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Lecturing
- General administration
- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- Quality Assurance
- Management of At-risk students
