RPO Recruitment is currently searching for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager (Operations & Maintenance) to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of our client's technical systems and equipment. As the Technical Manager (Operations & Maintenance), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client's technical systems to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. You will lead a team of technicians and engineers, monitor performance indicators, and implement strategies to improve operational processes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of Millwrights and Technical Operatives
- Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment with mínimal down time.
- Planning and executing a documented preventative maintenance system.
- Sourcing of maintenance spares and equipment required.
- Daily inspections, record and report information that may imped operation of the plant.
- Ensure that all electrical and mechanical equipment is operational and in strict accordance with Government and Company Rules and Regulations.
- Practice safe working procedures in accordance with the statutory regulations and OHS Act.
- Ensure general maintenance and repairs are completed in accordance to laid-down procedures.
- Appointed as the competent person as required by the statutory regulation.
- Adheres to the company’s safety policy and procedures.
- Property and Asset maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Electrical with Mechanical Experience.
- Millwright Qualification (Red Seal).
- Matric.
- PLC Programming advantages.
- Robotic Experience advantageous
- 5 Years Technical experience with Supervisory experience
