Junior Electrician - Philippi Cape Town - R110 Per Hour Fixed Term Position

A Plastic manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Electrician to join their team, focusing on the upkeep of production equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances

Conduct fault analysis and repairs independently

Develop and implement maintenance plans for electrical equipment

Prioritize tasks in alignment with production needs

Maintain communication with internal teams and external suppliers

**Requirements**:
Secondary Education (Grade 12) and N2 qualification in electrical trade theory

Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience

Proficiency in fault finding, equipment testing, and safety procedures

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Able to understand electrical drawings

Able to fault-find

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and machines

DC, AC, single phase, 2 phase, 3 phase, 230V, 380V, and industrial troubleshooting

Able to use testing equipment and hand tools

Regular maintenance of all machinery and equipment
