Processing Operations

**VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT**

Job Specifications which this position relates to but not limited to:

- Day-to-day operational management of the Primary Processing Plant (Abattoir), with the view to maximise processing efficiencies and yields, and optimise plant maintenance.
- Managing all labour related matters inclusive of authorised labour complement, contract labour, as well as Employee & Industrial Relations.
- Effective management of all production processes by maintaining production standards in terms of process flows, product quality, food safety, and meeting required targets and volumes.
- Optimising production throughout in line with Sales and customer specific requirements as well as plant capacities.
- Ensuring full compliance with Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety Policies and Regulations.
- General management of staff including supervisors.
- To mentor and train all relevant employees to establish and maintain standards, best practices and processes.
- Analyzing and reporting on production data on a weekly basis.

- Southport, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
