**Eduvos **is looking to hire the services of an **Independent Contractor, Graphic Design Lecturer**,** at our **Mbombela **campus on a part-time basis.***

**Type of appointment**:
**Independent Contractor (part-time; flexible workhours agreement)**

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Humanities-related modules, in the faculty on a part-time (contractual) basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:
- Honours in Graphic Design (Masters would be advantageous)

**Experience**:

- **Some Studio Industry experience or a Freelancer**:

- Relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Modules to be lectured**:
- Applied Colour & Design- Visual Literacy- Typography- Drawing- Communication Design- Motion Graphics- Digital Design- 3D Animation- Copywriting- Web Design- Advanced Drawing & Illustration- Professional Practice- Software skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Lecturing

- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials

- Management of At-risk students
