**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:
Report any serious conditions or incidences to the SRN on duty

Observe residents throughout the shift and record your observations

Receive new residents in accordance with company policy and procedures and conduct any updates on existing patients’ condition under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

Implement care as instructed by the Registered Nurse and/or Enrolled Nurse to meet individual patient needs, for example, intake and output.

Perform all duties in accordance with the scope of practice for Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary and in line with Company policies and procedures whilst adhering to the Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter.

Drive a positive patient (client) experience by putting residents first and deliver holistic customer-oriented service

Promote a harmonious and compassionate environment that encourages patient recovery and supports overall well-being of the patient.

Do regular rounds and report any abnormalities

Assist with activities with Residents to promote stimulation

Maintain effective channels of communication by liaising with all members of the multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and progress.

Promote quality patient care through professional behavior and conduct reflecting and maintain values, beliefs and the image of the organization by communicating any feedback from residents and family members

Promote the company brand through appropriate and professional communication to external parties

Assist Care-Workers where necessary

Assist the SRN during procedure by handling medical equipment and stock as required

Participate and contribute toward team meetings and offer ideas to improve patient care

Adhere to standards and procedures to reduce wastage and unnecessary cost and report associated risks to the SRN or Matron as and when these arise.

Have a minimum of 2 years experience with Auxiliary Nursing

Be registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC)

Have a higher certificate in Auxiliary Nursing
