**Job brief**

**Responsibilities**
- Call customers and accurately record their orders.
- Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues.
- Manage customer complaints, queries and grievances.
- Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
- Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, etc.
- Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as **office clerk** or other clerical position
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes
- Very good knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
- Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Matric certificate

**Advantage**
- Knowledge of Sage Pastel

Working hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Required to work all public holidays

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Goodwood, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- English/Afrikaans (preferred)
