Bookkeeper

**BOOKKEEPER TO TRIAL BALANCE**
- An established construction company in Blackheath is looking for a full-time bookkeeper to trial _
- balance with 3-5 years’ experience. This position would suit someone who wants to grow their _
- to use initiative and work independently, together with a strong work ethic. A competitive, market-_
- related salary is being offered, commensurate with experience. _

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant post-matric qualification.
- Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.
- 3-5 years’ experience in bookkeeping to trial balance.
- Proven experience in Pastel Evolution.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- General administrative skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Good organisational and liaison skills.
- A driver’s license would be an advantage.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Accounting**

Assist with a range of accounting duties, including but not limited to:

- Accounts Payable and Receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Cashbook management.
- Journals entry.
- Record daily transactions.
- Month-end processing.
- Control accounts reconciliations.
- Manage and reconcile accounts to Trial Balance.

**General administration**

Assist with the organisation and facilitation of the Annual Building Blitz, including but not limited to:

- Liaising with suppliers / customers.
- Planning and co-ordinating various components of the event such as rentals, purchasing required items as needed, etc.

**_Position: Permanent, full-time with working hours 08:00 to 17:00. _**
