Production Technician

**Production Technician & Code 10 Driver**

**Durbanville, Western Cape**

Production Technician will be responsible for the assembly, programming, building, setting up, installation, maintenance and testing of all products. The Production Technician will also be responsible for operating machines and driving duties from time to time.

**Duties and responsibilities**

1. Product assembly, testing and repair
- To ensure all products are assembled correctly
- To ensure all products are tested effectively
- To ensure all products are repaired and maintained

2. Machine programming, planning and punching
- Program CNC software from drawings
- Identify possible problems with drawings/designs
- Pull tooling and prepare setup of jobs
- Loading correct sheet type of steel for the job.
- Punch the correct parts/components as per the job card.
- Monitoring machine operations

3. Machine maintenance
- Daily machine monitoring
- Ensure routine maintenance takes place
- Ensure all tooling is well-maintained

4. Administrative duties
- To ensure all administrative duties are carried out
- Ensure all items dispatched are logged correctly
- Attend regular meetings
- Updating of WhatsApp groups and alerts

5. Health and safety
- Ensuring that personal protective equipment is worn and used at all times and is stored correctly after use
- Ensuring all responsibilities are seen to on a daily basis, as a health and safety representative

7. Driving

This refers to all duties which will be operationally required which can include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

- Driving the Billboard truck to defined locations as stipulated by management
- Reporting back to management on the exposing to clientele the specified location reached.

Minimum requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential
- 2 years’ experience in a warehouse and stock environment.
- Code 10 Driver’s License
- Internet at home.

- Strong organizing skills

**Salary**: From R1.00 per month

License/Certification:

- Code 10 drivers license (preferred)
