Modify or create detailed part and assembly drawings in 2D or 3D.
- Reverse engineering samples provided by customers and implement it in a 2 D or 3D drawing.
- Able to understand and read Electrical Single Line Diagrams.
- Liaise with sales engineers or customers for any information or design changes.
- Support customers and suppliers' technical requirements.
- Provide technical support to various departments of the company (quality, production, and sales)
- Able to design control panels SLD as per clients' requirements.
- Modifying or compiling bills of materials.
- Ensuring the final design is compliant with the required standard/s
- Providing engineering support to various departments and with suppliers on new projects.
- Kerridge system understanding advantageous.
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor to produce 3D models and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design issues and modifications.
- Create detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics based on engineering designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate representation of design concepts.
- Experience in designing components for fabrication in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, and sheet metal fabrication in SolidWorks.
- Able to travel international. Passport required.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- NQF Level 6 in Electrical Engineering/AutoCAD certification
- Experience in computer-aided design.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical draughting.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to respond well to criticism and to maintain a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Available and willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary.
- Experience in electrical design drafting of conceptual drawings to fabrication drawings in electrical systems.
- Motor control panel layouts and schematic drawings
- Training on AutoCAD, CAD Worx, AutoCAD Plant and/or Autodesk Inventor will be an advantage.
- No criminal record
