**Position Overview**: The purpose of the position is to prepare the vehicles for spray painting by masking all the areas of the vehicle that should not be spray painted. Ensuring that a quality paint finish is achieved thereby assisting the branch with the achievement of its financial and service targets.
**Specific Role Responsibilities**: 1. Masking Vehicles Ensures that the vehicles are adequately masked for the the spray painter: - all windows must be securely closed - covering seats inside the vehicle - covering all rubber on the vehicles - covering all windows when required - covering all handles on the vehicle when required - covering all wheels and alloys before spray painting when required. 2. Quality control - cleaning and wiping vehicles prior to being sprayed - ensuring mask cleaning from vehicles - checking for overspray and advise the spray painter 3. General - cleaning spray booths - ensuring that their designated work area is kept clean and tidy at all times - performing other duties reasonably required from time to time
**Qualifications and Experience**: Minimum Requirements - Grade 12 Minimum Requirement - Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old) - An excellent command of the English language is essential, both verbal and written
**Skills and Personal Attributes**: - Good interpersonal skills to support - Relevant experience an advantage - Self-motivated - Honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible - Neat and presentable - Must be able to handle pressure and exhibit good time management skills, demonstrating a sense of urgency and commitment - A team player
