To gain a clear understanding of the area under review and to evaluate controls
- To identify and assess risks related to the area under review and to draft an audit program to test controls that are intended to address the risks
- To identify gaps in the process and recommend process improvements
- To draft reports with clear and concise findings and associated risks
- To identify the cause of findings and assess management’s action plans to ensure that root causes are addressed
- To liaise with department heads, line managers, and external auditors
- To perform IT audits of the financial and operational business processes with specific reference to:
Application controls;
IT General controls;
Cyber security; and
Data privacy.
- To perform or assist in the performance of special reviews at the request of management
