Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of IT systems, processes, and controls within the Insurance, Retail, or Banking sectors to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to understand business objectives and tailor risk assessment methodologies and strategies accordingly.

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing IT risk management practices, frameworks, and controls, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.

Utilize industry standards and best practices to guide risk assessments, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and emerging threats.

Analyze IT security policies, procedures, and practices within client organizations, identifying areas for enhancement and providing guidance for implementation.

Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports, clearly communicating findings, risk levels, and recommendations to clients' senior management.

Stay informed about emerging IT security threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes within the Insurance, Retail, or Banking sectors to guide proactive risk management strategies.

Assist in the development of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and training materials to enhance the capabilities of the consulting team.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT risk management, including exposure to the Insurance, Retail, or Banking industries.

Strong understanding of IT risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.

Proficiency in conducting IT risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and control testing.

Experience in a consulting or advisory capacity, demonstrating the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Familiarity with IT security standards, regulations, and compliance requirements within the specified sectors.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and present complex concepts.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and client-facing environments.

Proficient in using risk management and analysis tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
