We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Seafreight Admin and Estimator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all administrative tasks related to seafreight operations while also providing accurate and timely estimates for shipping costs. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in relevant software systems, and a strong understanding of logístical processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Seafreight Administration**:

- Manage all administrative tasks related to seafreight operations, including documentation, filing, and data entry.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth and efficient cargo movement.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to seafreight shipments.
- **Estimation**:

- Calculate shipping costs and provide accurate estimates for seafreight shipments based on factors such as cargo volume, destination, and shipping method.
- Analyze pricing structures from various carriers and negotiate competitive rates to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide pricing quotes to clients and support business development efforts.
- Stay updated on market trends, freight rates, and regulatory changes affecting seafreight operations to ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the seafreight department.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline administrative workflows and enhance productivity.
- Proactively seek feedback from stakeholders and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in seafreight administration and estimation within the logistics or shipping industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is preferred.
