An exciting career opportunity exists in **Vereeniging, Gauteng** for a **Medical Practitioner **within a **Clinical and Physical rehabilitation** environment.

This role is an exciting position comprising the opportunity to treat inpatient rehabilitation patients and build relationships with the referring specialists in the area. This successful applicant will form part of the facility leadership team.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with an MBChB Degree
- Minimum 2 Years experience as Medical Practitioner - post community service.
- Exposure to in and out-patient care, High Care, ICU, Anaesthetic, and Casualty, will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation hospital will be advantageous.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skill base and hunger to learn more.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (E-Certificate with barcode) or willingness to receive by date of hire to be considered.
- HPCSA Registered
- Valid Professional Indemnity Cover
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport

- Patient and family-centered approach.
- Have strong communication skills and an ability to deal with a diverse range of patients and fellow team members.
- An interest in working closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and administrators.
- Prepared to assume responsibility for the patients allocated to you, and deal with some level of uncertainty, but know when to consult and liaise with other team members, referring doctors, and with consultants.
- Have a strong clinical knowledge and skill base, and a hunger to learn more and be coached.
- Perform pre-admission patient rehabilitation evaluations guided by the client.
