**Recruitment Officer x 3 - Pietermaritzburg**
MONTHLY SALARY-R28 000 Per month
**Purpose**
To administer all recruitment, selection, appointment, probation, induction and exit processes in accordance with the recruitment policy.

Resource Utilisation
- Use and maintain all organisational resources efficiently, effectively, and economically
- Provide information related to the requirements for stock, consumables, fixtures and fittings for inclusion in the annual budget
**2.2.1.2 Internal Processes**
2.2.1.2.1 Job Advertisements Coordination
- Process recruitment authority forms
- Liaise with Advertisement Agents to place advertisements
- Place advertisements in the appropriate medium
2.2.1.2.2 Recruitment Administration (including Graduate Recruitment)
- Develop short listing criteria and confirm with line manager and Talent Manager
- Keep a record of applicants
- Process the appointment authority
- Co-ordinate criminal checks, verification of qualifications and reference checks
- Process regret letters
- Process offers of appointment
- Submit appointment documents to salaries
- Process promotion, transfers and termination of service
Process certificates of service
- 2.2.1.2.3 Interview Coordination
- Conduct preparations for the interviews
- Co-ordinate new employee’s furniture removal
- Process relocation allowances for new employees
- 2.2.1.2.4 Induction Coordination
- Conduct preparations for induction
- Invite new employees to induction
- 2.2.1.2.5 Probation Administration
- Submit probation reports
- Control staff probation reports
- Follow up with supervisors on outstanding probation reports
- 2.2.1.2.6 Long Service Award Coordination
- Issue long service bars and letters for staff members on completion of 7,14,21,28, and 35 years’ service
- Compile and calculates the list of staff who are due for 25 year watch awards for the whole year
- Order the watches and arrange for them to be engraved
- Make arrangements with the board secretary for the awards to be presented during the executive committee meeting for head office
- 2.2.1.2.7 Talent Administration
- Coordination of Talent Review Committee meetings
- Submit data for Employment Equity reporting
- Coordinate Graduate sourcing activities
**2.2.1.3 Customer and Stakeholder**
- 2.2.1.3.1 Communication
- Answer telephone calls relating to vacancies, career opportunities and employment opportunities
- Attend to managers (queries relating to posts, advertising, progress relating to the filling of vacant/pending posts)
- Attend to public queries at the reception
- Attend to external company’s queries regarding staff
- Communicate with labour brokers regarding vacancies and pay rates
