The Fleet and Stores Coordinator is required to ensure that their fleet, equipment and tools are maintained, assist with overall process improvement in the department and to ensure that all administration and reporting is done according to our Clients electricals standards, which will enable the company to meet its operations objectives efficiently and cost effectively

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Fleet, Equipment and Plant Management**
- Monitor and manage vehicle, plant and equipment movement between the workshop and various projects.
- Complete requisitions for services, plant and equipment
- Weekly inspection of vehicles to be done, any damages to be reported to HOD and drivers Line Manager.
- Ensure that the correct equipment is sent to site right on the first time.
- Obtain quotations from panel beaters for repairs to be done to vehicles.
- Ensure that all Drivers comply with accident and vehicle policy when involved in accidents and complete documentation to ensure that vehicles get repaired/replaced as soon as possible.
- Establish and maintain good relations with Service Providers.

**Preventative Maintenance**
- Ensure vehicles are serviced on time and arrange timeously with service providers.
- Ensure that preventative maintenance is done on all vehicles, plant and equipment.
- Ensure that repairs are done the first time right to the highest quality.

**Licensing and Registration**
- Ensure that all company vehicles are correctly registered, deregistered, transferred, roadworthy and licensed and act as Company proxy
- Compile and manage traffic fines and damages register and ensure that fines are paid and damages are accounted for

**Consumables & Tool Management**
- Completion of requisitions and placing orders, quotes and repairs for tools requested.
- Ensure orders for tools are received within the required lead times.
- Receiving of tools from Suppliers and distribution of tools to employees.
- Issuing and checking in of tools.
- Conduct a weekly stock take of consumables and tools in the stores and update on the tools spreadsheet/envisage.
- Ensure that all tools are in safe working condition before issuing to projects.

**Reporting**
- Daily monitoring of tracker, investigate and forward report if any anomalies and deviations are found
- Assist drivers with completing accident reports, gather all data and submit and follow up with insurance providers and assessor
- Conduct and compile accident investigations to ensure that no driver negligence is involved.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Drivers License
- Computer literate and proficient on MS Office
- 3 Years previous experience in an electrical/technical fleet/stores department
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, thoroughness and reliability
- Be proactive and be able to implement corrective measures
- Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

**Summary**:
This position will be reporting to the head of Facilities. The post will also need to be strong technically minded to be able to deal with the operations department who need the support of someone who understands the nuts and bolts of the electrical components and has some knowledge of vehicles maintenance.
