**Job Title**:Site Foreman

**Reporting**:Site Manager

**Summary**:
Foreman works under the direction of the Site Manager, The Foreman is responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required. This involves ensuring all Company and legal regulations are implemented, that all required documentation is completed as necessary and recording daily work on site.

**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel.
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures

**Requirements and skills**:

- 3 to 5 years’ experience on construction Foreman
- Proven experience as construction foreman
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering required

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodmead, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
