Forklift Operator

Ø Offloading of freight from delivery and collection vehicles

Ø Ensure freight is safely offloaded from incoming drivers or delivery vehicles

Ø Assist receiving and customers with weighing of freight

Ø Moving freight to correct allocation in the warehouse

Ø Load vehicles according to load instructions

Ø Ensure freight is safely loaded onto departing vehicles

Ø Ensure freight is secure after loading

Ø Ensure the forklifts are cleaned weekly.

Ø Control forklift safety equipment daily.

Other general duties in line with the responsibilities of a **Forklift Operator.**

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: R1,958.00 per week

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Forklift operator: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
- Afrikaans (preferred)

License/Certification:

- 3 ton counter balance forklift licence (required)
- 4 ton counter balance forklift licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
