**BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS (Brief Summary):
**Purpose**:Efficient and effective management of planning and inventory synchronising activities inclusive of:

- Management of inventory to fulfill demand requirements.
- Management of inventory of questionable value (IQV)
- Supply planning & synchronisation
- Production planning & scheduling
- **Management of inventory to fulfill demand requirements**:

- Ensure on-time and in full quality products are supplied to customers.
- Manage stocks in alignment with business targets and customer requirements.
- Review replenishment strategies and the levels to be maintained (safety stock, re-order points, etc.) from time to time to ensure it is relevant and aligned to achieving the business targets.
- **Management of inventory of questionable value (IQV)**:

- Ensure inventory holding contributes to cash flow and impacts supply to customers.
- Monitor and manage inventory in alignment with the IQV process, ensuring that stock write-offs are mitigated wherever possible.
- Ensure that stock counts are performed timeously and as per the frequency specified in company procedures.
- Support as co-SME, Store-to-Ship within the ERP system.
- **Supply Planning & Synchronisation**:

- Co-ordinate routine S&OP meetings and relevant discussions with stakeholders
- Running of MRP and communications with procurement
- Communicating stock availability for future orders with sales execution
- **Production Planning & Scheduling**
- Responsible for maintaining, communicating, and tracking a detailed production plan/schedule.
- Work with production to publish a detailed production plan that translates all business requirements into a supply plan to meet customer requirements.
- SME support for Plan-to-Produce activities of ERP system.
- **Effective Leadership and Management**
- Mentor, Lead, and manage staff to ensure inter and intra-department cohesion and teamwork, a culture of performance to set standards and compliance to GMP, SHE, and good corporate governance.
- Ensure KPI are set for all employees and their performance is assessed according to these each year.
- Ensure your teams are settled with a low attrition rate and absenteeism.
- Ensure that all staff is trained and competent in all related departmental SOP's and tasks.
- Ensure management and key staff are available to service the different time zones of customers and that T&A is effectively managed.
- Manage employee performance to company standards and behaviour in line with company values.
- Develop staff under direct control.
- Recruit staff as and when operationally required.
- **GMP**
- Planning and inventory comply with GMP requirements as outlined by relevant Company SOP's and written instructions.
- Ensure no critical adverse GMP issues are identified during internal/external audits.
- Close out all GMP/Quality audit CAPA in line with commitments made in the CAPA program.
- **SHE Management and Compliance**
- Ensure all legal requirements and activities, inspections, and reports required in the FCC SHE management system are complied with.
- Implement and close out CAPA for all adverse SHE audits findings in a timely manner.
- Ensure that incidents are properly investigated, corrected, and mitigated from recurrence.
- Carry out any duty or requirement imposed on the company by the OHS Act and in accordance with your specific SHE appointment.
- Report any unsafe or unhealthy situations to the SHE representative or Line Manager.
- Report any incident to the SHE representative or Line Manager which may affect your health or cause injury.
- Ensure all sections within the department maintain compliance with company OHSE standards.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum Educational requirement is a Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or BCOM or similar
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Planning
- Experience in Planning and/or inventory management in B2B environment
- Experience in operations would be advantageous.
