The purpose of this role is to assist in preparing and designing visual solutions and methods of communication important for the business in printed and/or digital media to internal and external stakeholders inclusive of display advertising and social media design

**Working at NTT**

Design
- Creates new templates and edit existing templates for business communication
- Prepares artwork for production
- Works closely with Marketing Managers to ensure briefs are met
- Follows Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines and ensure these are consistently met
- Ensure that design admin is always up-to-date
- Creates video animation
- Plans layouts and prepares line illustrations, slides, posters and charts, displays and printed documents for presentations
- Designs layout documents and promotional literature and prepares them for printing.

Concept planning
- Works with the senior graphic designer to provide workflow support.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of alternative production techniques and resources. Supports image and brand recognition requirements.
- Conducts thorough research and gathers data involving the design concept prior to creating a design or layout.
- Studies illustrations and photographs to plan the presentation of materials, products and services
- Contributes ideas to the overall brief as part of the planning process and uses their innovation and creativity to redefine a design brief within the cost and time parameters
- Develops new design concepts, graphics and layouts for newsletters, promotional material, website, infographics, invites and online display advertising, social media

Illustrates concept
- Creates a general layout and graphics for the company website, magazines, newsletters, brochures and other related print and electronic media.
- Prepares illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with a variety of stakeholders and making the required amendments and changes.

Knowledge

**Skills**:

- Qualifications in graphic design\visual communication
- 0 - 6 months experience as a graphic designer
- Knowledge of Apple Mac operating system and software, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Good understanding of branding and corporate identities
- Good knowledge of printing, typography and reproduction
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Web design skills (i.e. HTML, Flash, PHP, CMS, WordPress etc.)
