**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Setting up tables, linen, silverware, glasses as well as front of house food displays.
- Making recommendations of menu items during food service
- Upsell additional products and services to customers.
- Accurate service to customers according to their requests and communicating regularly with back of house staff on menu requirements and recommendations.
- Communicate call orders to the back of house staff and specials to customers.
- Assisting with food preparation as advised by the Canteen Manager.
- Assisting with daily recording of back of house inventory to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Assisting with recording wastage daily to ensure accuracy in reporting of inventory.
- Issuing of inventory as and when required.
- Storing food samples daily and maintaining records of the same.
- Providing excellent customer service and recording customer complaints passed verbally.
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties that ensure customer satisfaction such as refilling and replenishing the serving stations.
- Communicating the menu contents as well as allergens to customers.
- Preparation of grab n go menu items as and when requested.
**Experience & Qualifications**
- High school certificate/matric.
- Food Preparation (Culinary Arts) Qualification.
- 3 years food preparation experience (please provide contactable references).

Pay: R47 000,00 - R50 000,00 per year
