Refrigerator & Aircon Technician / Handyman

You will be responsible for the upkeep and repair duties around the Hotel, identifying the need for repairs and general maintenance.
- **Skills required**_
- Min grade 12 / equivalent.
- Qualified Handyman, Trade certificate will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in maintaining, repairing & installing HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines & freezers.
- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.
- Self-starter with good time management.
- Physically fit.
- Highly reliable.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Sense of urgency.
- Effective in general repairs.

- Installation of HVAC and refrigeration units, including electronic and mechanical components.
- Manage activities related to logged tasks and projects regarding the facility.
- General fitting, welding, plumbing, pipe fitting and general repairs.
- Conduct weekly inspections on HVAC systems on the property and preventive maintenance.
- Ensuring that maintenance tools are security stored in the maintenance storeroom.
- Liaise with all departments with regards to maintenance needing to be done in the rooms and any other area within the Hotel.
- Troubleshoot and repair Installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction.
- HVAC units including electronic and mechanical components.
- Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components.
- Install, inspect, maintain, modify, and repair a wide variety of heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, equipment, and controls.
- Diagnose electronic & electrical malfunctions.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Work effectively and cooperatively with other personnel.
- Keep accurate records.
- Performs related work as required.
- Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.

**Salary**: From R7,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
