Duties

The Employee is appointed as a Runner/Cook

Tasks include, but are not limited to; cleaning front and Back of house on opening, as well as during operating hours and closing of cafe; assist in the cleaning and maintaining of cutlery and crockery used in the barister and smoothie making stations as well as making of smoothies, milkshakes, coffees, waffles and assisting kitchen in back of house when the café is quiet as well as during the periods where there are more orders for food than drinks; and when there are no customers to assist; welcoming and assisting customers; cleaning and sanitizing of tables after each customer; restocking front of house; cleaning shelves, ETC(when cafe is quiet), must learn where appliances, stock, etc are kept and must report any shortages; must learn the menu as well as specials; encourage the sales of products to customers (upselling); make customers aware of all specials available; etc. Assist at sales and promotions counters that get set up.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: R4,000.00 - R5,000.00 per month
