**The IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a lecturer (Independent Contractor) within the School of Management for second semester in 2023.**

**Competencies required**:

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Assertiveness and dynamism
- Understanding of customer service in education
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- Ideal: Honours/Post-graduate qualification in Financial Accounting.
- Alternatively: Bachelor degree in one of the Business-related fields with Financial

Accounting to at least 2nd year level plus a post graduate qualification in business or education or an MBA.

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Lecturing experience in financial accounting.
- Work experience as an accountant or financial manager for a company, group or as an individual
- Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level
- Previous lecturing experience within tertiary environment is advantageous
- Current industry knowledge is essential
