Management Couple for Guest Accomodation

We are currently looking for a energetic, self-starter couple to run two guest accommodation units and maintenance on a farm 20km outside of Tzaneen in George’s Valley. Potential for rental land for farming at preferential rates.

**Responsibilities**:

- Running day-today on site operations of guest accommodation cabins. Including on site guest relations.
- General upkeep, repairs and maintenance of the property.
- Managing two full-time staff members.
- Running of a small onsite nursery.

**Requirements**:

- SA-ID or valid work permit.
- 2-3 years previous work experience in similar positions.
- Valid South African driver’s licence
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken English. Spoken Sepedi, Sotho or Afrikaans would be advantageous.
- General administration skills, including computer literacy.
- Understanding general maintenance issues and management of resources and equipment.
- Experience of farm operations and broader maintenance issues
- Experience in front of house, housekeeping, guest realtions, etc.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations, challenging guests and unexpected maintenance issues

Compensation:

- Start 1 September, or as soon as possible
- Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience and references
- Accommodation on site (unfurnished, pet friendly)
- Flexible schedule, 40 hour work week. Negotiable.
- 20 days annual leave
