**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric
- Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Storeman.
- Essential: Microsoft Office Suite.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Receipt Management**: Responsible for receiving inventory shipments and conducting thorough inspections to verify both the quantity and quality of items received.
- **Inventory Organisation**: Ensure that received inventory is accurately portioned into appropriate picking sizes, facilitating efficient retrieval during order fulfilment.
- **Picking Process Oversight**: Supervise the physical picking of inventory against provided picking slips, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders prepared for dispatch.
- **Order Fulfilment**: Coordinate the picking of inventory items required for sales orders, ensuring proper labelling, packaging, and updating of waybills to facilitate timely dispatch.
- **Stock Availability Monitoring**: Fulfil requests from the Stores Manager by checking component availability to support the Production Plan, ensuring sufficient stock levels to meet operational requirements.
- **Stock Verification**: Conduct physical stock verifications upon request from the Sales department to ascertain shelf stock accuracy.
- **Warehouse Maintenance**: Always maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- **Accessibility Optimization**: Pack inventory in a manner that facilitates easy access and retrieval, promoting efficient warehouse operations.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records through the management of Bins Cards for Brass Products and the computerised capture of serial numbers.
- **Stock Take Support**: Assist in quarterly stock takes and ad hoc stock counts as requested by management, contributing to inventory accuracy and integrity.
