Logistics Manager for Recycling Company

Our client that is urgently seeking an experienced Logistics manager to manage the vehicles, drivers and staff on site (Recycling environment).
- Management of the vehicle tracking system.
- Responsible for coordinating collections with Drivers and Runners.
- Ensure that staff members wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist drivers in completing accident and damage report as per the company SOP's
- Ensure that vehicle inspections are carried out daily and report any defects to the Regional Transport manager.
- Update the GPS ODO reading weekly with the vehicle ODO reading.
- Ensure that all manifests are received, completed, and handed over to the relevant person.
- Ensure all leave forms are sent to HR before concluding payroll.
- Complete breathalyzing tests upon staff arrival for shift and conduct random checks throughout the shift.
- Action corrective or preventative procedures when IOD takes place.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Temp to perm

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Logistics manager: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Code 10 drivers license (preferred)
