**Job Advert Summary**:
Rainbow Chicken is looking for a qualified Electrician to join their busy Engineering team based at Bronkhorstspruit. If you are an innovative individual, able to work independently and can manage and motivate a team, this is your ideal position. This position repors to the Maintenance Foreman based at Agric Inland

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Completed Trade Certificate - Electrical
- Wireman’s License (Optional)
- Minimum 3 years trade experience in a production environment
- Experience in other disciplines could secure
- Valid Driver’s license (EB)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Mechanical, Civil, Electrical
- Inspection of machinery and equipment as per supplier requirements set out in the maintenance manuals
- Planning of work according to maintenance plan and schedule and as per breakdown
- Maintenance and repair of all Agriculture related machinery and equipment in accordance to the maintenance plan and schedule
- Repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment per breakdown
- Render assistance to Handyman on faults that cannot be solved on their level of required competence
- Daily inspection of all work completed at Agriculture including residential buildings and issuing of certificate of compliance

General
- Training, development and discipline of direct reports
- Daily issuing of certificate of compliance on any machine or equipment where any engineering related work was executed
- Issue daily job cards and inspect work executed
- Daily time sheets
- Order equipment and spares in terms of the BR and SSR Process
- Perform standby duties

As an Animal Handler I will ensure that flocks are provided with the following freedoms:

- Freedom from hunger, thirst, and malnutrition
- Freedom from physical and thermal discomfort
- Freedom from pain, injury, and disease
- Freedom from fear and distress
- Freedom to display normal patterns of behaviour, as allowed in facilities
