**The Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with agile development teams to define and implement product test strategies based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Liaise with QE analysts and automation developers to create and execute test plans.
- Proactively drive quality improvement through metrics and reporting.
- Track test coverage across components from a code and functional perspective.
- Integrate with the agile development team to contribute to planning, testing, and scrum ceremonies.
- Be an advocate for quality, best practices, and user experience throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years' experience in assessing software quality.
- Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) administration tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. Xray).
- Experience with agile frameworks such as scrum.
- Comfortable with source control and scripting.
- Experience in test automation: Cucumber/Selenium/Appium.
- Familiar with domain-specific languages: Gherkin/SpecFlow/Markdown.
- Exposure to continuous integration and delivery: Jenkins/TeamCity/GitLabCI.
- Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:

- Fundamentals of programming languages: JavaScript/Python/PHP.
- Exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to the cloud [Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Azure].
- Basic understanding of software security: Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Certs/Encryption.
- Relevant education/certification (International Software Testing Qualifications Board, diploma or degree) is preferred.
