She Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all trade permits required by the company are met.
- Ensure 14001 environmental certification are met.
- Conduct audits, report on findings and facilitate closure of findings.
- Conduct incident investigations to determine root cause for all Injuries and near misses and ensure countermeasures are implemented.
- Formulate and update SHE policies and procedures and monitor compliance.
- Conduct training on SHE requirements.
- Arrange and chair H&S committee meetings and ensure matters raised are actioned timeously.
- Collate and produce reports as required.
- Compile, update and maintain the companies Impact and aspects register.
- Maintain the MSDS file for all chemical products used by the company.
- Manage hazardous waste and co-ordinate waste disposal according to legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Oversee hazardous waste storage area, recycle waste, waste reduction monitoring, and ensure regulatory compliance, labeling, containments, proper disposal, and documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments in departments and processes as per the schedule.
- Conduct periodic evacuation drill as per the requirement.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant National Diploma in Safety Management/Risk Management or relevant equivalent qualification
- SAMTRAC/COMSOC 2 certificates will be advantageous
- ISO14001 Certificate
- ISO14001 auditing
- Coordination of the implementation, maintenance and administration of the SHEQ Management System
- Microsoft Office - Intermediate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a SHE Officer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive

industry.
