A well established Care of the Old based in Vosloorus is looking for a passionate Financial Administrator.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Administrative**:

- Manage reception desk and switchboard in absence of assistant financial and administrative officer.
- Prepare agendas and take minutes for financial and executive committee meetings.
- Handle correspondence, filing, and administrative tasks independently.
- Maintain administrative systems for invoices, statements, and bank records.
- Ensure insurance coverage for all assets in coordination with the coordinator.
- Complete and submit necessary forms to relevant departments.
- Maintain asset register and handle documentation for injuries obtained on duty.

**2. Financial**:

- Write receipts and conduct sporadic checks on received funds.
- Review and process invoices, quotations, and payments with approval from the coordinator.
- Assist in compiling annual budgets and provide financial information for planning large projects.
- Organize audits and collaborate with auditors on financial matters.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable using accounting software.
- Invest funds and administer the cheque account for optimal interest income.

**3. Staff**:

- Calculate and process salaries as approved by management.
- Transfer contributions to pension funds, unemployment insurance, and tax authorities.
- Handle claims related to retirement, insurance, and disability benefits.
- Ensure compliance with Workers' Compensation Act.

**4. Resident and Facility Management**:

- Determine boarding fees, review debtor accounts, and manage resident finances.
- Ensure residents receive proper care and respect.
- Maintain accurate resident records and handle pocket money management.

**5. Training and Development**:

- Attend relevant training opportunities and assist in training the financial and administrative assistant.

**6. General and Professional**:

- Participate in Senior Staff Committee meetings and contribute to various operational aspects.
- Assist in staff recruitment, evaluation, and disciplinary procedures.
- Plan emergency procedures and risk management strategies.
- Maintain professional relationships with healthcare services and adhere to legal frameworks.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with relevant legal regulations and healthcare standards preferred.

**Salary**: R8 000,00 - R9 000,00 per month
