Internal Sales Representative

An established steel fabrication/construction company in the Springs/Delmas area is looking for an Internal Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 years steel-based internal sales experience

**Responsibilities**
- Support and service existing clients as well as new and prospective clients
- Identifying and developing of new clients via planning, schedules and follow ups
- Preparation and sending of quotations to clients
- Ensure detail, accuracy and inclusion of all relevant project specifications for respective tenders, quotes
- Prepare and review quotes, tenders
- Processing of orders as per clients requirements
- Attend to and follow up on any client issues
- Prepare paperwork for respective contract services
- Monitoring of clients respective accounts as well as follow up on outstanding payments
- Prepare and maintain various sales and activity reports
- Feedback to company departments with respect to field developments, new requirements and relevant customer requests
- Interact with production and other departments to ensure completion of customer orders as required
- Completion and filing of all relevant invoices, quotes and sales based literature
- Resolve customer issues and complaints
- Submit schedule for prospective clients and targets
- Ongoing Liaison with various company departments including Projects, Detailing, Procurement, Production
- Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations including site visits when required

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Valid driver’s license
- Own reliable vehicle
- **MUST HAVE a minimum of** 5 - 8 years Steel based internal Sales Rep experience
- **People without 5 years Steel based sales experience will NOT be considered**:

- Computer literate - MS Office
- Experience with Sage/Pastel, Syspro, SAP or similar software is ideal
- Must be prepared to travel to clients and companies if required to do so
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven sales track record
- Able to travel and work outside of normal hours if required
- Salary is dependent on relevant Technical Sales skillset and relevant industry experience
