Rte Manager

Khonology is seeking four experienced and highly skilled RTE Managers to join our team for a one-year contract engagement on a hybrid basis.

You will be responsible Team Management, Project Management, Scrum, SRE/RTE Services and Remedy BMC You will work closely with our development teams and platform teams to close and approve remedy incidents and changes; whilst creating an environment mutual influence.

**Responsibilities**

**Remedy BMC**
- Daily remedy reporting on all open incidents and changes on remedy;
- Liaising with platform teams to close and approve remedy incidents and changes;
- Ensure engineers/developers close incidents and change items on remedy on scheduled dates;
- Compile monthly report on remedy, reporting on each platform team - Ensure that no incidents and changes have breached for the month;
- Keeping track with ITSM scorecard to ensure that the dashboard is on 100% closure rate and service population is filled in;
- Check implementation planning has been attached on all change requests**.**

**Team Management**
- Listen and support teams in problem identification and decision-making;
- Create an environment of mutual influence;
- Understand and empathize with others;
- Encourage and support the personal development of each individual and the development of teams;
- Coach people with powerful questions rather than use authority;
- Support the teams’ commitments;
- Be open and appreciate openness in others.

**Project Management**
- Project management of any small, medium, and large projects given by the area;
- The project management of automation style projects within the area to enhance the space;
- Management of budgets and financials attaining to the projects;
- Assisting on projects headed up by others within the space;
- Reporting and communication.

**Scrum**
- Daily stand-up management and running of sessions;
- Sprint planning management and running of sessions;
- Creation of all JIRA tickets and maintenance of JIRA;
- Compile end of sprint workload numbers for teams for delivery of Sprint and PI stats.

**SRE/RTE Services**
- Compile PI calendar for RTE’s;
- JIRA weekly updating;
- JIRA end of each sprint updating;
- JIRA end of PI updating;
- JIRA beginning of PI updating;
- PowerBI end of sprint reporting;
- CAB session admin work;
- Managing small projects;
- Support to RTEs;
- Managing RTE team catch up sessions;
- Daily stand-ups for Senior RTE teams;
- Daily remedy checks;
- Monitoring incidents and changes logged;
- Assist platform teams as and when required

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications
- 5+ years of experience in RTE Management role
- Strong leadership skills and experience leading development and platform teams.
- Knowledge of database technologies and data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and solutioning capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
