General Maintenance Technician

**Key Performance Area**:

- Take responsibility for the hands on maintenance, diagnosis and repair of designated electrical and mechanical system, equipment and be capable of anticipating potential faults or problems like Basic Electrical, Arc Welding, Plumbing, Refrigeration skills.
- To comply at all times with the Company’s Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Procedures, site specific health, safety and welfare policies, and relevant Health and Safety legislation to ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the Industry’s best practices.
- Ensure that all areas in which work is undertaken are kept in a clean and tidy condition to ensure minimum disruption to the building users.
- To liaise and co-operate with the visits of specialist sub-contractors and other visiting disciplines to ensure the continuing efficient operation of the plant without disruption to the occupants.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A recognised in the trade specific discipline
- Good verbal, numerate, interpersonal and computer skills
- Motivation with initiative, flexibility, and innovation to continually develop skills
- A good knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to work in a team
- A results-orientated approach
