**Technical Competencies and responsibilities**
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Mechanical Draughtsman position.
- Preparation of layout drawings of plant and machinery.
- Generating concepts and providing necessary engineering calculation checks.
- Providing sound engineering designs to address plant requirement.
- Ability to take measurements in machines, at heights and in basements.
- Experience in the use of CAD systems (Autocad and/or Solidworks)
- Ensuring availability and cost of materials and components.

- Good communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels.
- Willingness to work in various environments.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
