**Learnerships - Butchery - Sausage Maker**

We are offering a learnership within the retail environment. The Learnership offers detailed training and practical work experience for retail specific roles after which a NQF level 2 certificate is awarded for successful completion.

**REQUIRED**
- Presentable & Friendly Manner
- Work experience, min 7yrs in a similar role in sales - Verifiable References Available.
- High school degree - Matric
- SOUTH AFRICAN ID
- Strong, Healthy and fit - Role will involve labour intensive physical tasks
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Comfortable engaging with a variety of different people, Teamwork
- Bilingual - Afrikaans & English - Excellent, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to remain professional and level headed at all times
- Dependable and disciplined
- Must reside within at least no more than 30km radius of Derdepark - Must be able to Reliably commute

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

under the direction and control of a master meat cutting technician, grade 1A or meat cutting technician, grade 1B
- cleaning;Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards.

Familiarity with all equipment. Understanding and implementation of food safety practices

loading and unloading goods, carcasses, meat or poultry into or from vehicles;
collecting orders and money from customers beyond the establishment;
deboning

mincing meat and cutting up meat for the purpose of making sausages and boerewors;
making tea and/or similar beverages for refreshment;
packs and wraps meat, and

any other general duties not specified in this agreement relating to the Meat Trade, which may include, but not be limited to:
assisting customers with product information.

Work Hours: Fluctuating / Shift work - hours fluctuate between 06h00 - 19h00 Mondays to Sundays

**Salary**: Learner stipend R 3000.00 per month
