Our client is looking for a talented Salesperson for its projects which consist of various tourism and corporate team-building initiatives - all ocean related.

**Your Responsibilities**:
The salesperson is responsible for driving revenue and increasing the customer base of The Organisation. Their primary focus is on selling products to potential clients.

To assume your responsibilities outlined above, the following tasks are entrusted to you:

- Prospecting: Identifying and researching potential customers or leads who might be interested in The Organisation's products or services.
- Conducting Sales Presentations: Demonstrating products on offer.
- Handling Objections: Addressing and overcoming any concerns or objections raised by potential customers during the sales process.
- Negotiating: Discussing terms and prices with customers to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
- Closing Sales: Securing deals and turning potential customers into paying clients.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: Cultivating strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Follow-Up: Staying in touch with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
- Market Research: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in customer preferences to stay competitive and relevant.
- Collaborating with stakeholders: Working closely with The Organisation's foundation to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintaining Sales Records: Keeping detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals closed for future reference and analysis.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communicator - both verbally and in writing. They should be able to articulate the benefits of their products or services clearly and adapt their communication style to different customers.
- Active Listening: The ability to listen attentively to customers' needs and concerns and offering the most relevant solutions.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and focus on activities that yield the best results.
- Resilience and Rejection Handling: The ability to bounce back from setbacks and continue pursuing new opportunities.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and solve customer challenges with creative solutions.
- Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty, leading to repeat business and referrals.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt and adjust their approach when they encounter various customer personalities and industry-specific challenges.
- Technology Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office packages and/or Google Workspace.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with The Organisation's Team to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Follow-Up: Consistent and timely follow-up with prospects.

**Your Background**:

- Experience in sales in service-related industry advantageous.
- Tourism or ocean products experience a HUGE advantage.
- Personal attributes: confident, self-motivated, tenacious, enthusiastic, strong work ethic, professional, and a resilient positive attitude.
- Driver's license and own car, own laptop.
- Work from the office in Muizenberg.
