**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Covering and scrubbing for theatre cases.
- Packing and checking of sets and implants in the warehouse prior to delivery to hospitals.
- Provide support and assistance to sales team.
- Provide support and assistance with stock counting, stock control and inventory items as and when required.
- Acquires a basic understanding of the medical and orthopaedic field to include regulatory compliance.
- Consistently supports compliance and the principles of responsibility (SAMED) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensures and maintains continuous training in surgical technique, instrumentation and implants, In
- Theatre technical assistance for clients as required in support of the sales team.
- Assists with Stock control and inventory management of all orthopaedic inventory items.
- Delivers orthopaedic sets to clients in Cape Town and other areas as required.
- Assists with cleaning, replenishment and maintenance of orthopaedic sets.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Education : BSc/BA in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience ; Nursing Qualification ideal
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Orthopaedic Trauma Field (IDEAL) with specific focus on theatre experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with ortho surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial.
- Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.

**Basic Requirements**:
Driver’s License and own vehicle

Willingness to work on weekends, nights, public holidays & ‘on call’

**Remuneration**:
Market related

May 2023.

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
