**A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their children aged 5 years old, 10 years old and 12 years old**
**Area**:Sandown

**Duties**:Transporting children to school, extra mural, therapy etc. Management of children schedule including planning and amending if needed. Tracking of newsletters and what app groups. Liaise with teachers and therapist on children’s progress and requirements for homework. Send reminders to the parents with regards to children’s schedules and needs. Assist with homework, project and test preparation - assisting the daughter with homework for grade 6 (she is in a remedial environment) and someone who has can cope with the demands of dealing with my son who has social and behavioural challenges. Proactive communication with parents. Engage the children in intellectually stimulating play and activities (employee to keep up to date with and implement appropriate developmentally stimulating techniques and activities); adapting style to work with the needs of the child and be open to learning about neurodiversity, including dealing with sibling rivalry; organize, keep track of, order, and collect the chronic medication for family. Running errands; assist in keeping play and studying areas tidy; take dog to do park.

**Start date**: ASAP start - permanent contract
**Salary**:R15 500 per month plus petrol**

**All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements**:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
