Digital Marketer

A niche African-based mineral resource management consulting firm is seeking to employ an Digital Marketer on a permanent basis. This is an office-based position located in Somerset West, Western Cape.

Ultimately, you should be able to promote the company, increase client engagement, and increase its industry visibility via various digital marketing strategies and channels. Although digital marketing is the main focus, client liaison will also be required from time to time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulating a social media content plan
- Manage various social media platforms
- Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram
- Includes content planning, copywriting, and community management
- Plan creative, effective digital media content with varying purposes
- Monthly blog posts/mailers and E-commerce updates (copywriting)
- Outline and execute marketing campaigns
- Paid advertising social media platforms and google
- Thorough campaign, Website + analytics (pulling, creating, and sharing reports)
- Coordinate with supporting marketing and branding agencies where necessary
- Maintain a strong online company voice through social media
- Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
- Improving, developing, and maintaining a marketing and contact database

**Essential Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of media editing software(s)
- Experience with visual communication principles
- Familiarity with web design and content management systems
- Analytical and project management skills
- An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
- SEO and google AdWords knowledge is advantageous
- Degree/diploma in digital marketing
- Practical marketing experience would be advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken)

**Salary**: R20k p/month, negotiable and dependent on skills and experience

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
