Material Planner

Planning and control over supply chain regarding raw material.
- Ensure sufficient material flow to production.
- Identifying & reporting of material problems in advance in order not to have line stoppages.
- Maintain old FIFO dates in the warehouse regarding slow runners and expiry dates.
- Weekly obsolescense and excess stock reports.
- Ensure on time material supply to projects & Pu Changes.
- Maintain the MRP with comparing this to the call-offs received from the customer.
- Early detection of customer increases.
- MRP runs to all relevant suppliers as per given date.
- Ensure that suppliers receive these orders at the correct time and supplier delivery as per order releases.
- Weekly KPI stock reports.
**Experiece & qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- Relevant logistics diploma or degree will be an advantage.
- Own transport a MUST have.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in logistics Material Plannning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Fully computer literate (Excel) -Not negotiable.
- Flexible - Must be able to be on stand-by after normal working hours and work overtime as and when required.
