Debtors Clerk

Henwil Chickens is looking for a dedicated person to fill the position of Debtors Clerk within our Finance Department.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12/National Senior Certificate is a requirement.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Debtors Clerk.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Good organization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must be able to multitask and perform under pressure.
- High level of accuracy is required.
- Hardworking, honest, and self-motivated.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Allocation of deposits.
- Reconciliation of monthly statements, accounts, cash clients and overdue clients.
- Monitoring overdue account and following up with customers to secure payment.
- Responsible for the release of orders.
- Follow up on payments and overdue payments.
- Processing of credit notes and receipt books.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, invoices, payments, and correspondence.
