Production Supervisor

A well-established manufacturer within the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. Based in Ballito.

**Requirements**:

- Team management of more than 50 people
- Minimum of 3 years in the Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing industry
- SAP Experience
- Must have worked in a SAHPRA, ISO 22000 or GMP approved plant

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Report into the production team daily on changes, shortages and plan adjustments.
- Decide on and plan for the required staff resources in order to complete production in the required time frame.
- Handle Production HR matters with the HR Department.
- Monitor productivity rates of both staff and machinery.
- Liaise with the engineering department to allocate time for planned preventative maintenance.
- Liaise with different departments and teams to ensure production can continue as per the production plan.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
- Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for Executive review.
- Supervise and motivate teams.
- Review worker performance and identify training needs.
- Manage KPI’s
