**A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their sons aged 8 and 3 years old**
**Area**:Bryanston
**Working hours**:Monday - Friday: 13h00 - 17h30 (To be refined when finishing times are provided by the school).
**Start date**: ASAP start - permanent contract
**Duties**: Fetch both kids from school, inform parents when arriving at school and subsequently when arriving home.
Prepare lunch and encourage eating at a healthy pace, work through projects, homework with kids constantly supervising work done, homework not completed to a good standard must be redone, provide further stimulation in English, Maths, 2nd languages etc. Also incorporate building of core and shoulder strength, yoga etc. Compile a weekly schedule of activities.
Transport kids to extra curricular activities and/or appointments
Play either indoors or outdoors. Not out of complex. Bath or monitor bathing of kids Prepare lunch for the next day and ensure school bags are packed for activities for the next day, ensure kids are hydrated and drinking water, promote such as potty training
**Other points to note**:Work in partnership with our domestic helper. Always clean up after meals, work and play.
Maintain good levels of hygiene.
No screen time is allowed during the day.
During play time, Au Pair should be part of the play
The kids are not great eaters. Being able to feed the younger kid who is a difficult eater is important
Safety is very important.
Be weary of kids around the pool
Under no circumstances is physical punishment, screaming or threats towards the kids allowed.
Ensure vehicle is of a road worthy condition and regularly maintained. and are responsibilities may arise in the course of employment.

**Requirements**:25 years old and above. Previous au pair experience. Reliable vehicle with adequate driving experience
**Salary**:R9000 per month plus petrol**

**All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements**:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
