We are looking for a clerk to join a well established Accounting Practice. The position is based in Umhlanga. First contract for 3 months with a possibility to be permanent.

**Duties but not limited**:

- Capturing from banks statements.
- Company Secretarial.
- Preparation of payroll.
- Preparation of EMP VAT and income tax returns.
- Assisting clients with queries and general accounting issues.
- General Knowledge.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- BCom Accounting / BCompt degree.
- Caseware knowledge and Xero knowledge is advantageous.
- VAT & PAYE knowledge.
- Previous experience in an Audit / Accounting firm.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be well organized and work well under pressure.

**Behavioral Competencies**
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Willing to learn.

**Job Types**: Temp to perm, Full-time

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
