Webhelp is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Resilience and Risk Manager to join our team in Cape Town.

If you’re passionate about driving operational stability and have experience in crisis management and the development of Business Continuity Management (BCM) programmes, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who possesses a curious and analytical mind, with the ability to define problems, collate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

You'll be an excellent communicator, with the confidence to challenge senior leaders, and the ability to present information to a range of stakeholders, adapting your approach to suit the audience.

Overall, as our Resilience and Risk Manager we want someone who is highly organised, able to work independently and in a team environment, and possess strong leadership skills to manage a crisis situation effectively.

**What you'll be doing**
- Developing and maintaining a BCM programme in line with ISO standards 22301, 31000 and 27001
- Supporting and guiding the team in building resilience by design and aligning all resilience activities to the company’s strategic initiatives
- As Business Resilience and Crisis Response Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in creating, developing, and maintaining our BCM and Crisis Management programme ensuring that our business is equipped to handle any unforeseen events
- Creating remediation plans with recommendations to build resilience to the wider business
- Identifying and assessing, in conjunction with the Risk and Compliance team, any business disruption risks and their impact on Webhelp and it’s operations
- Supporting the IT and Facilities teams in coordinating business users for testing
- Facilitating and coordinating crisis management calls providing regular communications to stakeholders throughout the entirety of an incident
- Appropriately challenging and carrying out due diligence for all projects, including onboarding of new clients and internal transitions to ensure resilience is built into everything we do
- Identifying any regulatory requirements for Webhelp and its clients and create a plan to ensure those requirements are met
- Regular reviewing of client contracts to identify any gaps in Webhelp processes and create remediation summary to address any issues

**What you’ll need**
- Crisis management response
- Development of BCM programme
- BCI certification (preferred)
- Project Management (Desirable)
- Experience managing third party relationships
- Ability to comfortably work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly
- Knack for problem solving
- Ability to analyse historical and present data
- Ability to take the initiative, identify areas for improvement, and proactively develop and implement solutions
- Strategic thinking with ability to see the bigger picture and align the company's resilience activities with its strategic goals is essential
