**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within BCG's Global Advantage Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing geopolitics & trade expertise and insights, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory.

In addition, you will support with guidance from senior colleagues, your topic/sector in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of latest, high-quality content. You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the Geopolitics & Trade Impact business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts.

In the process, you will contribute to and benefit from the rich ecosystem of talent, knowledge, and resources that make BCG a global leader in strategy consulting.

**YOU'RE GOOD AT**:

- Solving new and complex problems in an agile manner and synthesizing content across multiple sources in a format directly useable by BCG teams in Client contexts
- Self-managing in a remote/virtual work setting, working with colleagues across the world
- Supporting multiple project teams and prioritize managed deliverables in a fast-paced, globally distributed, matrix organization
- Building a strong global network (externally and internally) that can help the GTI team leverage existing knowledge and seize commercial opportunities
- Learning and growing into your role, with a can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:

- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated high achievement. Coursework in economics, public policy, international law, or international relations preferable
- 1-2 years relevant functional experience a plus, ideally in one of the following: consulting; risk management; legal services; or a public sector institution or think tank that deals with international trade matters
- Experience living and studying in a non-Anglosphere country a plus
- Prior academic and/or professional exposure to trade policy and trade economics, combined with a foundational knowledge of international relations, world history, and international political economy
- Foreign language skills a plus (in particular, working proficiency in Spanish or Arabic)
- Knowledge of all MS Office products required; experience with advanced analytic tools such as Alteryx & Tableau a plus

**YOU'LL WORK WITH**:
You will join a team of global trade experts based in Montreal, Boston, Amsterdam, London, Johannesburg, and Singapore, comprising BCG partners, expert consultants, and members of BCG’s Knowledge Team. Our team delivers customized knowledge and expertise to BCG clients across a range of industries around the world. We also drive BCG's growing IP around geopolitics and trade, including proprietary tools, publications, background materials, and curated project work (“case work”, in BCG parlance).

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
